Mission for Mr Kyps

Having first opened in 2002, Mr Kyps has established itself as a cornerstone of live music culture in the Bournemouth and Poole area. The stage here has developed a reputation for attracting popular bands and performers who wouldn’t usually play such intimate venues, such as Adam Ant and Joe Bonamassa. To keep up with demand for ticket and performance information, Mr Kyps came to Bespoke 4 Business to create a new e-commerce website.

Solution for Mr Kyps

After liaising with the client, it was clear that the primary focus for this updated website was the promotion and sale of gig tickets. Our design team created a unique custom layout that prioritised the dates and times for gigs, allowing visitors to the site to quickly identify who is playing, when they are on and how much tickets will cost. From here, we broadened the remainder of the site to include information about the venue, a photo gallery and reviews of performers from previous visitors. We were also able to add a full calendar for potential customers to look through and a page regarding renting the stage and the costs involved for any up-and-coming bands looking for a venue. Using the colours from the Mr Kyps logo, the site looks perfect in black and red.

After promotion on social media and at Mr Kyps itself, there was a huge boost to the online profile of the venue when the new website was launched. We are pleased to say the site is a vast improvement on its predecessor, and its release has caused an uplift in organic traffic from search engines, subscriptions for their monthly newsletter and overall ticket sales.
