Needing to update and modernise their existing website, they got in contact with us after struggling to keep up with demand. With a vast product range, it was important to arrange this site correctly to ensure new customers could find the items they were looking for simply and enquire quickly. High quality images of decorative stone and paving were used to create a moving banner that showcases the latest promotions available. A mega menu was designed to house a ‘products’ section that allows users to navigate to the relevant area of the site quickly. A simple, colourful layout draws attention to ‘tick boxes’ that include ‘safe and secure online payments’ and the option to read the latest customer reviews. After detailed competitor research, our team also included a search bar function combined with opening times and a brochure download option to improve the user experience.
The website is integrated with a Postcode lookup system which not only makes the checkout process faster, but also enables the website to more accurately quote for delivery costs. The complex cart delivery system has a custom algorithm which is able to calculate delivery based on size as well as weight, ensuring they don't make a loss.
