Mission for Carpet Barn

An independent family run business with over 35 years of industry experience, Carpet Barn have unrivalled knowledge and expertise. Due to their ongoing success, they needed to maintain their online presence and update their website, which was beginning to look outdated and had struggled to keep up with enquiries. The new e-commerce site had to act as both a marketing tool and a simple online store, keeping the customer engaged within the product pages whilst providing an increase in internet sales.

Carpet Barn contacted Bespoke with a clear vision and direction for the new site, with a focus on a visually attractive homepage and menu system that could direct potential customers to key areas quickly and easily. Our design team took this opportunity to maximise the impact of the wide range of products available in a large scrolling banner across the homepage, with a set of clickable boxes below that highlight the reasons Carpet Barn are above other competitors, for example free local delivery and expert friendly sales staff. With four stores across the south coast and an ever-growing customer base, it was crucial that the store facility worked perfectly. Our team took great care in creating a custom purchase pathway that gives the user a simple route from locating a product to checking out. We also developed an area of the site that was dedicated to the promotion of latest offers, allowing the Carpet Barn team to add and remove products quickly when the sale season starts.

This new site is a huge improvement on its predecessor and since its launch, there has been a steady increase in new online enquiries and sales. We are working with the Carpet Barn team to improve the amount and quality of detailed content on the site to increase organic traffic levels and raise their search engine ranking. Bespoke will also be creating a number of e-shots for Carpet Barn to support the new site as we approach one of the busiest times of year for them - the autumn announcement of their ‘Epic Sale’.
