Northern Gas and Power have been providing specialist solutions to large businesses, blue chip companies and government organisations since 2009. They contacted Bespoke after becoming frustrated with the limitations of their old website. They requested a smart and professional website that reflected their approach to business, and one that would give potential customers an idea of the options available with a simple method of getting in contact.
Having conducted competitor analysis and market research, our design team were keen to make use of a main moving banner that promoted how Northern Gas and Power could save customers money and reduce their carbon footprint. Matching the blue and green colours found in the company logo, the main homepage included six main buttons highlighting the ways in which the client can help. Each of these lead to individual pages that hold several ‘calls to action’ including a ‘contact us today’ banner and a quick contact form on the right side of the page. The menus were kept simple and clean to give a professional impression, with all contact details placed at the top of every page alongside the social media icons, giving the user a choice of ways to get in touch. With images being slightly less crucial on this website, the content used was optimised for the relevant keywords to help improve the search engine ranking.
Since launching the new site, Northern Gas and Power have benefitted from a consistent rise in the number of visitors to the site in recent months, and most importantly they are receiving new enquiries regularly. With potential customers able to read about their energy saving methods clearly and in detail, this is also boosting enquiry rates. We are pleased that the new site has begun to rank highly on Google and the other main search engines.
