Having built a reputation as a reliable company that provides the finest turf laying service, Lawns of London wanted a new website to match their professional work ethos. Their existing site was small and struggled to portray the upmarket business image the company was attempting to build. They contacted Bespoke to create a visually impressive website that would showcase their previous work and encourage new business opportunities.
Our creative team got straight to work designing this new site from scratch, with a focus on high quality images that would showcase the proficient workmanship provided by Lawns of London. A moving image banner on the homepage was an obvious place to start, and this was filled with examples of previously completed lawns and gardens taken directly from their client portfolio. The rest of the site almost fell into place, with a simple menu giving the user an easy navigation pathway to follow through case studies, the turf laying process and the types of grasses available. Our team tried to create a site that avoided the “hard sell” as this was not the target market. Instead, we looked to encourage any potential customer to take the time to look through the case studies and processes involved, with their visit naturally ending on the ‘contact us’ page.
Lawns of London are very pleased with the new site and most importantly their clients have also been incredibly positive in their feedback. The clean, professional design was just what the business was looking for and has led to an increase in both organic traffic and enquires for projects. Crucially, there was an uplift in the amount of time each user spent on the site and this almost certainly helped to raise the number of online enquiries.
