Broadview has been established in Poole since 1969, and have been one of the leading suppliers of indoor and outdoor shading solutions across the UK. Broadview has four websites that focus on shading for the residential and commercial markets, as well as vehicle awnings for the motor and sporting industry. The client approached us early last year to update their current websites but focusing on Outdoor Shading, to create a modern look and easy navigation system. The new website also had to be device responsive to cater for clients that view the site from their desktop, mobile or tablet.
Our web team quickly focused on designing and updating the new Outdoor Shading website, so it could go live on the 27th of April 2017. The new website needed to match Broadview Outdoor Shading’s classic style, so we chose a white, black and green coloured theme that continuously maintained throughout the site. We created a bespoke layout and homepage that was image focused, to show Broadview’s high-quality products from previous case studies. The website has nine sections along the sidebar, and with the ‘About’ and ‘Contact’ pages near the bottom, it’s a simpler layout, with the option of fast access to their contact form.
Broadview wanted to focus on the hospitality, education and retail sectors as they are the most popular industries they partner with in their Outdoor Shading website. The products they supply of awnings, umbrellas, parasols, promotional barriers and outdoor structures have their own detailed pages, including specialised product pages for each hotel, cafe, pub, restaurant, retail, and education sector. We implemented a Case Studies page to show their previous projects for clients that include The NED, The Sandbanks Hotel and Rick Stein Restaurant. Outdoor Shading’s case studies and news posts are updated frequently by our SEO team, to keep the site up-to-date while inspiring customers about services Outdoor Shading can provide for them.
Broadview is also working with us to implement Lead Generation, SEO, PPC and Social Media into their Marketing plan. Since the release of the new Outdoor Shading website in April 2017, the site has gained positive engagement across all platforms. Outdoor Shading’s online presence has increased with higher rankings, more enquiries, and their social posts reaching 1000-3000 people in the UK.
Broadview are happy with how their modern Outdoor Shading website looks, it now has easy user navigation with engaging and informative content. The website reflects clearly their extensive collection of products in slider images and galleries that persuade new and existing customers to happily browse through the site. We look forward to continuing working with Broadview, and their four websites of Outdoor Shading, Broadview Blinds, Vehicle Awnings, and Pergolas and Shading.
