Mission for 1812, Bournemouth

As one of Dorset’s most stylish bar venues, 1812, Bournemouth wanted a website that was consistent with their corporate brand that they had worked hard to develop. Their custom built website also needed to engage and appeal to their young target market. 1812 were looking to reduce the number of phone calls they were receiving regarding bookings for the lounge bar and restaurant.

The website features the same logo, colour scheme and fonts which are used in the company’s offline marketing which is already popular with their target market. Our team designed a responsive website to enable a positive user experience when viewing the site on all devices. This also makes enquiring from mobile devices very easy, allowing visitors to fill out contact forms with ease whilst on the go. We took care to create an in-depth enquiry form that outlines the type and exact time of the reservation. This was incorporated in the hope that a large number of the reservations for the restaurant or cocktail bar could be carried out online thereby reducing the number of phone calls the 1812 team were receiving.

The website was very successful, gaining 393 visits within the first 5 days of being live. 1812, Bournemouth have also received a large number of enquiries for not only table bookings, but for events such as hen parties and birthdays. The detailed contact form now reduces the need to have lengthy telephone conversations to follow up many of the online enquiries.
