SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

Here at b4b marketing, we design and manage the websites and ongoing marketing activity for a number of Dorset and Hampshire's leading businesses and we’re looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to join us.

You will play a key role in helping to shape and deliver engaging social campaigns for clients within a variety of industries.

With an in-depth knowledge of all social media platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube and Instagram, you will be able to demonstrate experience of managing these networks outside of your own personal use for a variety of businesses / clients. You will be confident advising clients on the latest trends and best practice across social, content and inbound marketing, as well as using Facebook pixel and managing paid social ads.

The successful applicant will ideally have experience in a similar agency role or will have worked in-house managing social accounts.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work with clients and internal account management teams to help deliver monthly social content calendars on behalf of our clients that meet their business objectives
  • Design, maintain and monitor client content and social media profiles
  • Audience research & refinement
  • Craft engaging posts, including video, in a creative way that demand attention
  • Optimise content for platform and intended audience
  • Continuous monitoring of social media communities for the benefit of our clients
  • Timely management of all interactions with social accounts
  • Design & implement social media re-marketing campaigns
  • Implementation of Facebook Pixel
  • Analyse, track and measure performance against KPIs and report on monthly social campaigns
  • Stay current with social media trends and tools - includes attending networking and educational events, reading blogs, and listening to podcasts
  • Continue to refine and define our social marketing process

Skills required:

  • Excellent copywriting and communication skills - you must be able to convey key messages and craft original, compelling and engaging posts in a creative way
  • Experience in creating video content for social media updates
  • Great presentation skills when dealing with clients
  • Excellent working knowledge of social media paid advertising campaigns on all channels
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Good knowledge of and keen interest in the digital marketing landscape
  • Pride in your work
  • Knowledge of social media and analytics software (Hootsuite, Twitter Analytics, Google Analytics, Facebook Insights etc).
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and handle multiple projects at any given time
  • Design skills & flair - good knowledge of Photoshop
  • Photography skills would be an advantage
